Brian is going on his 15th year as a licensed home inspector with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration and has conducted over 5000 home inspections throughout southern Arizona. Prior to performing inspections Brian received a bachelors degree from the University of Arizona as well as a degree from Arizona SunTech for both home and pool inspections. Brian has previously worked with Patio Pools shooting gunite and working in the overall construction of pools, as a chimney sweep and chimney renovations, as well as an air duct and dryer vent cleaner. As a Tucson native Brian’s experience with the Tucson area and in the home inspection field is second-to-none.
Robert Walsh

Bob comes to us from New Hampshire. A veteran with extensive knowledge and expertise, specifically in older homes. Bob has remodeled many homes from the late 19th century until today.
Here is a brief, and condensed background:
- 1972-1976 U.S. Navy specializing in meteorology at Fleet Weather
Central, Pearl Harbor HI - 1978 B.A. in marine zoology obtained at University of Hawaii -summa cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa.
- 1981-2007 Manager of Information Systems, U.S. Postal Service for New Hampshire and Vermont. Was responsible for data communication and electrical branch circuits in over 50 newly constructed offices and plants. Responsible for all aspects of computer technology in 900 offices.
- 1985-1990 Worked as an apprentice to Master Electrician in Massachusetts mainly rewiring and performing service upgrades to older homes.
- 1989-2000 Member of Milford NH Conservation commission responsible for the protection and procurement of public land and the creation of recreational facilities on the land (trails, bridges, ramadas).
- 2007 Retired from U.S. Postal Service with 34 years of government service.
- 2011-present Volunteer work with Master Gardener Program of the U of A cooperative extension, performing maintenance and construction services in the gardens and on the irrigation systems.
Bob is currently licensed with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration. Bob has performed over many home inspections throughout southern Arizona since 2016. With his diverse background he brings more knowledge to a home inspection than the average inspector and is a vital asset to the House and Home team.
Robert Tackett

Robert Tackett comes to us with over 40 years of construction experience. He started his career with his family’s commercial construction company in Memphis TN and worked in it until he relocated to Arizona in 1993. He has spent the last 20 years in new residential construction. He has worked with Lennar, Maracay , and Mattamy homes as Construction Manager, Area Manager, and Area Environmental Manager. He received his BPI Building Analyst Professional certification and HERS Rater certification in 2014. He has performed many home energy audits and Energy Star Ratings on homes in the Tucson area. Robert is licensed with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration and brings a tremendous amount of experience to the House and Home team.
Ron Rath

Ron is a licensed professional engineer with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration and with the PEO in Ontario Canada, since 2006. Ron Has an extensive background in electrical engineering automation design and troubleshooting of systems supplied by 4160VAC and lower. This includes PLCs, Servo systems and robotics. Rons’ interests include autonomous robotics and hydroponic systems. Ron currently performs manufactured home structural and foundational engineering inspections and provides necessary certification for the homes.
Thomas Kendall

Thomas spent his early years working his way up through a privately owned high speed manufacturing plant in NE Pennsylvania. Being mechanically and technically inclined he was able to wear many different hats and worked his way up to General Foreman of the manufacturing portion of the business. His understanding of operations allowed him to write policies, procedures and specs for all of the manufacturing functions In addition he has General Contracted his own homes and has done light contracting for homeowners and friends. His inspector training was acquired from Inspection Training of Arizona. His training has consisted of working with multiple inspection firms in Tucson and finally coming to reset at House and Home. He enjoys helping other and learning new skillsets to further his knowledge base.
Wesley Traylor

Wesley began his home inspection experience early on working for his own family’s inspection company in Nashville, Tennessee. After receiving a degree from AHIT home inspector training in 2017 he relocated to the west coast and expanded his experience of the business working for one of the top home inspection companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. A Tucson resident for four years now, he has done various construction work in southern Arizona ranging from roofing to re-modeling and handyman jobs, gaining knowledge of the area. Wes is licensed with the Arizona Board of Technical Registration and his knowledge base is a great asset to the House and Home team.
Genie Walsh
Office Manager
Genie joined House and Home in October 2019 bringing a plethora of skills to the job. Genie is a Navy veteran and has worked as a Postal clerk, a bookkeeper, a pharmacy technician, a bank teller, and an order filler for an internet company. She served the town of Milford NH as School District Treasurer for 13 years while running her own business making custom sports uniforms. She enjoys quilting, knitting and crocheting, taking walks and riding her motorcycle with her husband, Bob, and spending time with their children, Rob and Emily. She is also organist for St. Jude’s Church in Tucson.
